The future of CPPS, and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

 CPPS Central

CPPSCentral has been around for almost one whole month now and we’re proud to have an active, well organized professional Team of Authors, Editors and Designers! So, Acer and Myself would like to give all our Team a huge thank you, thank you for your commitments to CPPSCentral! You, our audience have helped us achieve our goal too, so a thank you is entitled to each individual one of you. Thank you.

We are also pleased to congratulate the winners of The Best CPPS of 2012; Atlantic Penguin – our fine partner and host of

2012 has been a big year for the vastly increasing CPPS Community. At the start of 2012 new CPPS’ awoke, with a lot more features than their predecessors from 2011 and 2010. They brought much more up to date features, and good consistency – slow speeds quickly became the past and big members of the Community rose their CPPS’ to the top.

After iCPv3 rose to the top, Disney sent legal papers to the operators of the server and completely bombed the CPPS community (and the iCPv3 team) by switching to AS3 (which resulted in a change in a lot of their internals making it extremely hard to make a private server with a lot of the new content). After a period of 2 years, the CPPS community finally decided to get cracking on the problem and over this summer, some progress was made with CPEmulator and pCPPS being the first to break through into the other side of AS3land. There’s still work to be done but there’s certainly two fights right now, one being the always graceful competition between servers and another being Disney.

We can only hope that the new generation of CPPS’ will arrive in 2013, and by the looks of it we’re almost there.[1] [2]. What do you want to see in 2013? Tell us here, or on!
